lht guitars fugue
This is my first build from Tyler Wells. I have been looking for one for some time now. Feast your eyes !
From Tyler re his Fugue model - “The Fugue” is the next step in the evolution of my design. At its core it is a 16" arch top. It takes the asymmetrical aesthetic of the Baroque and the more voluptuous curves of the Madrigal and adds some unique features of its own. The arm bevel built into the carve of the top adds comfort for the player and subtle curves add to the appearance of the instrument. The design of the arm bevel allows the top to be braced exactly the same as a traditional instrument, without having to add any blocks or lose any precious soundboard area. The sound hole design also has a slight bevel, projecting the sound forward, but giving the player a sound port style perspective of the instrument as well. The design uses the flowing curves of the body but offsets them much like a Fugue stacks a melody.”
