Gio Ponti was a famous Italian architect, industrial designer, furniture designer, who started his career in the late 20’s, instigated modernisin architecture early in the 30’s, created the renowned design magazine Domus that became the ultimate reference in that field. He became an icon of modernism in architecture with numerous buildings through his six decades career with the likes of the Pirelli tower in Milan, the villa Planchart in Caracas, Parco dei principi hotel in Sorrento or the villa Nemazee in Teheran being his masterpiece and the starting point of our project.
We took our inspiration from various examples of his work, interiors, furniture, lighting in order to dress our guitar in his style as an humble tribute to this master of Italian design genius.
