Tao Guitars T-Bucket “NOBU”
A note from Serge on origins of Nobu: “I was in Tokyo 6 years ago visiting some shops with our Japanese dealer of the time, we went to a shop called “The Guitar Lounge" in Setagaya. After some good talk and try out, the boss called Nobu order us this guitar, a Broadcaster was hanging on the wall, he handed to me and ask if we could copy the feel of the Fender, after evaluate the guitar, I said OK so we tried our best to transcript that feel. That was the story behind, which one (vintage Broadcaster) it was exactly I couldn't say, I just had the feel of that big thick V neck in my hand that I could copy.” This awesome instrument's neck measurement is similar to a real 1950 Broadcaster which Serge confirmed when he visited Japan. Additionally, the neck is flat-sawn, same as original vintage Fender. The finish is satin matte blonde for the body, satin matte oxblood for the neck. As you know, this color combination is inspired vintage Fender amps.
